Best time to visit Denmark

Spring (March to May) is marked by gradually warming temperatures and blooming landscapes. It is one of the best times to explore the countryside, parks and gardens, such as the famous Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Crowds are smaller, making it an ideal time to visit popular attractions without the summer rush.

Summer (June to August) is the peak tourist season, with long daylight hours and mild temperatures, perfect for outdoor activities. Coastal areas and beaches are popular, and the weather is ideal for cycling. Festivals and open-air concerts like the Copenhagen Jazz Festival also fill the cities with vibrant energy.

Autumn (September to November) brings cooler temperatures and beautiful foliage, especially in the countryside and parks. Crowds thin out, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for exploring cities and cultural sites. It is also the season for harvest festivals and enjoying the cosy, hygge atmosphere as the days get shorter.
